Revisit sessions from PASS in Oslo

PASS at Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo

Over four days, from 17-20 February 2021, the Pan African Space Station (PASS) broadcast daily sessions for ‘Actions of Art and Solidarity’, a group exhibition curated by Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) in Oslo and organised with Kunstnernes Hus. These transmissions looked to the Festac ’77 book and selected narratives to expand on in sound. They were the first PASS sessions to be produced under the conditions of a global pandemic. Adegoke Odukoya, better known as Adé Bantu (born 13 July 1971 in Wembley, London), is a Nigerian-German musician, producer and activist. He is best known as the founder of the Afro-German musical collective and NGO Brothers Keepers and as the front man of the 12 piece band Bantu. He received the Kora Award (the Pan-African equivalent of the Grammy) for his album “Fuji Satisfaction” in 2005.
