Joe Frank and his desparate woman

An audio drama for you

  1. Just couldn’t help it.

I mean after my PASS (fraternal) twin followed my poetry reading yesterday with her “sex” poem…

  3. You’ll have to forgive some of the technical glitches, particularly when the singers mic is not up for part of her first number.

  4. But all-in-all, it was a great 23 minutes of performances.

The sound you hear, that sounds like white noise in the background is because one of the insturments used a direct box, and we have no way of grounding a DI (direct input) with this particular set up…uXolo…….anthony

  5. Oh yeah, also…the Nina Simone song you heard before the Joe Frank piece was the Duke Ellington-Billy Strayhorn compostion; Something To Live For.

  6. Think i’ll play a cut from one of my current favorite people, Lady May, out of Namibia.
Somehow i think it is in preparation for our Songs for Busi (Mhlongo) tomorrow night.

I’m going to play the cut off of her CD Tiger Ambition called See You Play.

After that DJ Andy Williams is on the rig.
