But the dvd machine in the space station seems not to want to play it.
I know what you thinkin’…don’t even go there. It’s a legal copy…i bought it with hard earned Rands.
At least it looks like a legal dvd…but you never can tell these days.
While adobe is doing its’ thing, let me tell you what happened this morning…
So i woke up at around 3am and did my nine push-up, ankle stretch, three push-up thing before assuming my prayer position…
After the prayer i begin with the Somatics. It starts by laying on ones back; when i turn over for the second movement i see, at eye level — a water bug.
(Down here you call them roaches…but in the South Bronx of New York City a roach is small…i think they are called German (no offense) roaches).
So i’m going…”What the…”
See i don’t like to be interrupted with my morning routine.
So i grab a shoe and smash the sucka; get up, get some toilet tissue, pick it up and flush it down the toilet…
No matter what you call it, it’s a dead bug in the water now.
…and i go back to my exercise routine.
Lesson: When a person who is born in the year of the tiger is up during its time (3-5am); no matter who or what you are, don’t disturb them.
After my early morning prayer and exercise, i go down to my home office…
(Actually i have three offices: the home one, one at UCT when i’m teaching there; which i didn’t do this year – will probably return next year, and my Idasa office/studio — We just got a new computer i haven’t touched as i am here non-stop)
Anyway i check the Peter Tosh video and it works fine. Do some file transfers…looking for photos of CapeCodes Audio Drama groups for Pam (my PASS fraternal twin) to post for Friday’s afternoon live presentation here at the Space Station.
…Drink my first 500ml glass of water for the morning and go back up to lay down for meditation…
Well i call it meditation. It really is me thinking myself into a doze. But thoughts are always peculating.
Back to what i was saying about my morning “meditation…”
So i’m laying in my bed, i love so well, and i’m thinking i’ve been associated with PASS from the begining…But it feels like a continuation of something from before.
We were colleagues for years and years.
They were so African centered in their doings we ribbed they by calling them the Batman and Robin of the movement.
It was because of them me and Melvin Simmons developed the way the Sound Gatherers operate.
Ah-h-h, it’s the three…and i’m lovin it. Too bad they can’t do like a experienced in India and go for over 6 hours.
You know, build to where, where they are now would happen at about hour 4…
Great day for me…the learning curve is finally kicking in…
Unfortunately for me, Neo reads this blog…me and my big writing mouth, so he is sending me home.
Oh, by-the-by, The General has arrived…He’ll be on after Limbe tomorrow.
