Welcome drinks on Saturday 11 Sept from 10pm, and at midnight PASS radio launches with DJs, musicians, soundists, poets, generally noise people presenting music and sound inspired by Steve Biko’s work; or reading from his words in I Write What I Like. Paricipating projects include the first-time performance of a 11-piece jazz project directed by tumpeter Mandla Mhlangeni; a dance-poetry-jazz project by Linda Tshabalala; DJ sets by Shado Twala and Helliocentrics and Dalaflat Music and many more. Entrance is free – cash bar available.
I wish very much to be there but other commitments call. I was wondering if this event will be recorded? I would love to get a DVD of it if possible
