Since August 2006, the youth of Gauteng and beyond have gathered in and around Vosloorus (east of Jhb) for eclectic musical showcases – periodically featuring fashion and arts. It all started from moving yard to yard every first Sunday of the month. Hence the name: “EvoLokxion Sundaze” (better than revolution). The Evolokx sessions have featured the best of the east, including BLK JKS and Zuluboy. Impande Core, Mawe2 and countless others also walked their first steps there. The host and curator of these sessions is a selector named blaq T, known for his deep crates and his broad music tastes.
