Bokani Dyer Quartet come home for a new residency on Wednesday, March 20. Expect to journey deep into the African American and African traditions, mixing hard smokin’ bop, gospel blues and R&B with classic South African soul jazz of the 1970s.
Thursday, March 21 – church!
And playing with electricity on Friday, March 22 – machine improvs via Italian duo Legoloop (Francesca Krnjak + Riccardo Moretti). Electronic, jazz and house spliced with tribal grooves, quirky toys and a looping machine.
