Stories About Music in Africa

Stories about Music in Africa is an ongoing series that presents concert-lectures and audio/visual stories about music outfits from global Africa dedicated to exploring new musical territory. The series is recorded at the Chimurenga headquarters in Cape Town as well as satellite locations across the African world.

The latest episode is Malcolm Jiyane’s Tree O, who extend the sonic tradition set by two of Malcolm’s mentors, Johnny Mekoa and Jonas Gwangwa.
