Stories About Music in Africa

Stories About Music in Africa presents: iKhambi with Nduduzo Makhathini & The Cure Collective

Recorded live at Chimurenga HQ (Cape Town) in April 2017, the eighth installment of Stories About Music in Africa presents Nduduzo Makhathini and The Cure Collective, featuring Makhathini on keyboard, Justin Bellairs on saxophone, Shakeel Cullis on bass and Asher Gamedze on drums.

This installment takes it’s name from Makhathini’s latest project ‘iKhambi’, which is a quest for healing through sound. Positive vibration to the universe is at core of Makhathini’s vision for the music and his compositions speak to his connection to a higher spiritual force.

Stories about Music in Africa is an ongoing project of the Pan African Space Station.
